Movies, film contests, stunts, classes and more in downtown Smithville! The Smithville Music and Film Commission is gearing up for our third annual 'Reel Film Expo'! All ages are invited to join us as we host this interactive two-day event on Friday, May 3rd through Saturday, May 4th featuring stunt demonstrations, location tours, screenings, seminars, networking mixer, green screen acting, student film contest, and pechakucha. You never know which famous folks will be on hand to introduce their production. The 'Reel Film Expo' is free to all attendee. There will be a special class offered by Paul Bright on how to make great films on a low budget - the cost is $35.00 per person. Friday night we will show 'Beneath the Darkness'; Saturday daytime movie will be 'Tree of Life' ; Saturday date night movie is 'Bernie'.

All movies were filmed in Smithville and are FREE to attendees!
