On Saturday, April 23, Keep Denton Beautiful, Inc. (KDB) will host the 23rd annual Denton Redbud Festival at the Denton Civic Center (321 E. McKinney Street) from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This award-winning community festival ? Denton's official Arbor Day celebration ? will feature dozens of vendor booths with tree and plant sales, home improvement products, and local/handmade crafts.

The festival welcomes attendees of all ages, with activities including a Kids Zone with bounce houses, face painting, TRASHion Runway Show, and music performances throughout the day. Denton Libraries will host a special tree-themed story time for young children and their caregivers, and other workshops will also be offered on-site. Visit www.kdb.org for more information.

Proceeds from the Redbud Festival benefit nonprofit organization Keep Denton Beautiful, which works year-round with Denton residents to create a clean and beautiful city.
