It's that time again! Texas Ranger Day is Saturday, March 17, 2018!

Which famous Texas Ranger lived and died in Burton, Texas? Discover Burton's unique history on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Texas Ranger Day from noon to 5pm hosted by the Burton Heritage Society.

Celebrate Burton's history with the Annie Maud Avis Memorial Fajita and Bean cook-off and experience Texas Ranger Camp life in the 1880'?s, live action folk life demonstrations, crafts, and tours of the Railroad Depot, as well as Burton Farmer's Cotton Gin.

The Lil Mr. and Miss Ranger contest will be at 1PM.

We will have Gun Slinging Re-Enactments by the Legends of the Texas Rangers and there will be DJ music thanks to the Kountry Chick!

All proceeds to benefit the restoration of the Mt. Zion Historical Chapel. Admission to the event is free, tickets for all you can eat fajitas and beans are $10 for adults, $5 for kids 5-10.
