Taste of Seguin, the annual rivalry between restaurants, caterers and commercial kitchens, is set for June at the Seguin-Guadalupe County Coliseum, 950 S. Austin St. Samples of appetizers, soups/salads, entrees and desserts are provided by more than 20 vendors. Attendees vote to select the best in each category. Plus, there is music, dancing, door prizes, a raffle, silent auction and other activities for a lively evening beginning at 6 pm with winners announced at 9 pm. The event is sponsored by Guadalupe Regional Medical Center and hosted by The Silver Center. All proceeds benefit The Silver Center which provides a full range of social, wellness, nutrition, and educational activities for seniors 50-plus.
