I was told that this family band played at barn dances and such in Lamesa and Dawson County, Texas. Anne Bell Jones McSpadden
was my grandmother. I knew that she played the piano, but I never knew that she played the mandolin. In my lifetime I met three of her brothers but I never heard them speak of playing music.
