Holderman took a pitch out from Fry to the Jeff 38. Fry pitched out wide to Townsend who ran to the Jeff 26. Fry on a sneak got three at center to the Jeff 23. Townsend gained one on try at Jeff's right end. Fry's pass to Bob Moorman fell incomplete. Fry's pass to Townsend was incomplete and Jefferson took over on downs on their own 22.
JEFFERSON -- Rote gained two at center. Knight drove off his own right tackle to the 29. Knight slashed for a first down to the Jefferson 33. Cody hit the weak side for two yards. Cody met a wall of tacklers on the right side a yard gain. Cody gained a yard on a wide sweep. Rote kicked from his own 36 to Fry on the Odessa 11 and Fry returned to the Odessa 31. Odessa was penalized back to its own16 for clipping.
ODESSA -- Townsend gained seven at his ~ five through center and a first down on the Odessa 28. Townsend got three over left guard. Townsend ran outside his own left end for five. Gabrel pick up a first down on the Odessa 41. Townsend took a lateral from Holderman and was dropped for a three-yard loss back to the Odessa 38. Payne and Rote made the tackle. Fry swept his own left end four five. Townsend streaked through his own left tackle for 12 yards to the Jeff 45. Holderman stopped by Tassos after a yard pickup at center as the quarter ended.

ODESSA -- From the Jefferson 44 Gabrel gained 13 yards through his own left tackle. Townsend hit the same hole for six yards. Fry hung on to the ball to gain two. Gabrel gained eight yards through his own left tackle to the Jeff 14-yard line. Gabrel hit the left guard to the 11. Fry on a sneaker at center chugged to the five. Townsend went just inside the five. Gabrel hit his right tackle for a first down by inches on the Jeff three and one half-yard line. Fry handed off to Gabrel who went inside Jeff's right end and tackle for a touchdown. Sub End Harold Dozier kicked the extra point. Score Odessa 7, Jefferson 0.
KICKOFF -- Townsend kicked off to Cody on the Jeff seven who returned it to his own 43.
JEFFERSON -- Taylor stopped Heineman at center after a half-yard gain. Rote drove off Odessa's left end for eight yards, one foot short of a first on the Odessa 47. Knight drove inside his own left tackle to the Odessa 43. Heineman got two and a half at left guard. Foster stopped Rote after a gain of about two feet. Knight flipped a short basket pass to Payne for seven yards and a first down on the Odessa 33. Knight circled around Odessa's right end to the Odessa 15-yard line. Rote cut inside his own right guard for five to the Odessa 10. Knight drove to the Odessa six. Rote went around his own right end untouched for a touchdown. Rote kicked the point, tying the score at 7-7.

ODESSA -- Gabrel gained three through his own left tackle. Townsend slipped and fell on a try at left end but gained three. Townsend was stopped for no gain at his own right guard. Holderman's kick was blocked by Chapin and Payne for a first down on Odessa's 31.
JEFFERSON -- Rote passed to Payne for a first down on the Odessa 21. Knight's pass was intercepted by Holderman on the Odessa two yard line and Holderman returned to the Odessa 13. Fry gained three at center on a sneaker and the first half ended.

ODESSA -- Gabrel was stopped at center for no gain. Townsend drove outside his own left tackle for seven. Townsend gained four and a first down on the Odessa 46. Holderman hit the middle to the Jeff 49. Townsend gained three inside his left tackle to the Jeff 46. Fry pitch out to Townsend who circled his own left end to the Jeff 34. Gabrel hit the middle and gained 16 yards to the Jeff 18 for a first down. Townsend lost a yard on a try at his left end. Gabrel gained two at center. Townsend's pass intended for Bill Moorman was knocked to the ground by Knight in the end zone. On a fourth-down running pass to the right Townsend passed over the goal line to Holderman for a touchdown. Knight made the tackle but it was too late. Dozier kicked the extra point.

ODESSA -- Gabrel got two at center. Townsend gained five at his left end. Townsend gained two at his left end. From the Jeff 34 Holderman kicked out on the Jeff seven.
JEFFERSON -- Taylor dropped Rote for a two-yard loss. Rote kicked to Fry on the 50 and Fry returned to the Jeff 39.
ODESSA -- Fry hit center to the Jeff 30. Holderman gained six and a first on the Jeff 24. Gabrel hit his right guard for five to the Jeff 19. Townsend slashed through his left tackle for eight and a first on the Jeff four. Townsend was stopped at the one-foot line by Tassos. Townsend hit his right guard for a touchdown standing up. Odessa was penalized five-yards for delaying the game on the try for point. Patterson replaced Dozier and kicked the point. JEFFERSON -- Knight was stopped by Taylor for no gain. Coty took a handoff and got four. Townsend drove Rote out of bounds on a left end sweep which was good for a first down on the Jeff 43. Cody passed to Knight for eight yards to the Odessa 49. Rote got a first down on the Odessa 43. Bill Moorman stopped Knight at center after a three yard gain. Taylor knocked down Rote's attempted basket pass. Rote passes to Payne who fumbled and Chapin recovered for Jeff on the Odessa 30 for a first down. Rote faked a pass and ran through center to the Odessa 25. On a bootleg play Cody gained a yard. Rote's intended pass for Chapin was knocked down by Townsend. Holderman dropped Rote for a two-yard loss and Odessa took over on downs on their own 28.
ODESSA -- Gabrel hit the middle for six yards. Fry sneaked through the same hole for three. Fry went to the 40 for a first down through center. Holderman was stopped for no gain. Fry ran to the Odessa 44. Odessa was penalized five for delay. Townsend got back to the Odessa 46. On a fake kick Fry fumbled and Jefferson took over on downs on the Odessa 49. JEFFERSON -- Bill Moorman dropped Rote for an 18-yard loss. Taylor knocked down Rote's pass as the game ended.
